Quite some time ago, I took to drawing cartoons at work. It was another project of sorts, but more something to make my job fun and relevant for me in ways that it usually wasn't. Basically, if one of my coworkers said something that sparked an image in my head, I would draw a quick and dirty cartoon of it on a 3x5 card with a Sharpie and hand it to them. I found out after doing them for a while that my cartoons were quite popular with my team, and even sought after. I was floored...and not a little flattered.
"The Rat's Ass" had it's origin at my office. My friend Aaron quite often said he couldn't give one, so I drew him one so he could.
